Charles, if the next three letters out of your mouth aren't UFC or MMA, I'm revoking your man card!!!

So you're saying boxing isn't manly enough for you? :box:

I love mma too! One of my fighters has UFC aspirations. He's a wrestler with great submissions. I taught him how to strike. :D He's going to Royce Gracies school in Tampa for a month.

I'm watching UFC on Spike right now.

Boxing. Local Fight or Pro Fight?

I didn't mention Boxing because there really aren't any good fighters to watch these days. A local fight is different when there is that personal interest, but other than that, there are no pro fighters that I'm interested in watching.

I'd love to, but I froze to death this weekend.

Whose brilliant idea was it to have a tournament outside in February in Maine??

Oh yeah, it was Chris' idea... the guy is nuts.

This has been one of the best dog events I have ever been to. Who knew freezing your butt off in Maine could be such fun. If you are within 10 hours of this place next year, you are doing yourself a great disservice if you don't come up.

Of course, he has other events that don't include it being 20 degrees out with a foot of snow on the ground, but that's for wimps

Chris, his wife April and his apprentice Megan are the most gracious hosts you could ever want to meet. And their training club is also full of great people - and many of them have Pits! Added bonus!

I could write about 10 pages about this trip so far, but I don't really have the time. We're going Yahooooo training in a little while.

I took a lot of pictures, I'll try to get them up soon!!!!!

Sleep? who needs sleep?

I promised to post pics if Chris posted the yahoo training video from today. Considering Chris has only gotten 8 hours of sleep in the last 8 days, I won't hold it against him if he doesn't get to the video tonight!

So here are a few 'teasers' from the weekend so far:

Connor did very well. I'll let Demo and Chris fill in those details.

I have to say that Chris and April are the most generous people I have ever met. We were lucky to leave with a new dog and a crate. If we had stayed any longer they would have handed us one of the kids.

Chris is also one HELL of a trainer. If you ever get the chance to meet him, ask a question, sit back and absorb the "information you need". Chris is a rare trainer in that he works to understand dog behavior as well as dog training.

I can't wait to get back up there.
