Hi, my name is Paul and I am the proud owner of 5 pit bull mixes and 1 lab/dalmation mix. These dogs were all sick and injured rescues from the Humane Society in Orange County. Their names are Gemini, Aries, Leo, Pisces, Virgo and Capricorn.

Welcome, Paul! Please tell us a bit more about yourself and how you got into the breed.

I have been married for 4 years and I work in the insurance industry. My first rescue was Gemini, a lab-dalmation mix. We named her Gemini because she has a Black head and a white body.

We decided to get a companion for Gemini, and we went back to the shelter and adopted Aries. She had Demodectic Mange and was under weight when we found her. She was labeled as a terrier mix...so we adopted her. When we took her to the Vet, we were told that she was a Pit Bull. I had never owned a pit or even been around one...so my knowledge of the breed was based on what you hear in the news.

From that day, we learned all we could about the breed and have never looked back. Since we adopted Aries, our family has grown to a total of 6 dogs. I will probably never own another breed of dog.

These dogs are our children...where ever we go...they go...with tails wagging!!!

There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

:greenWave: Welcome!!

Did you "do" your avatar??

My posts are my own opinions unless otherwise stated. They are not necessarily correct for all dogs or all owners.

I did not paint the picture that I use for my avatar. This is an artist that I will be commissioning to do my pittie's portraits. His name is Ron Krajewski. Here is the link to his website.
