but I am here anyway!

I see some familiar faces from a variety of dog forums and PBF, so I figured tis time to stop lurking (especially since I wanted to post to a few threads!).

I'm Kim, and I am currently owned by one doberman (with another coming tomorrow, at least temporarily), multiple cats, rats, a rabbit, a guinea pig, and a gecko.

About me:
I am a veterinarian in NJ.
I have owned dobes for 5-6 years now.
I enjoy training and performance sports with my dogs.
I am an active proponent of rescue, both running my own and volunteering with other rescues.
I have raw fed for almost 4.5 years now.

About my dog:
Rah, an 18 month old blue doberman. Currently training in obedience, tracking, Schutzhund, and kicked out of agility class. Hobbies include pillow-humping, cat chasing, cat-toy eating, digging in the mud, shredding stuffed animals, fetch, fetch and a little more fetch, and chasing shadows on the walls.

some pics are always appreciated, I know.

well, it's a close call - it could either be the nonstop whining at other dogs, it could have been the need to play tug for 50 minutes of each hour (allowing 10 minutes for when they allowed rah a turn at the equip) that others found distracted, or it could have been the trainer simply wasnt ready for an 85 lb coiled spring of energy.

i mean, the trainer only has border collies. i can understand how a male doberman can be difficult on her :)

Hello!! Good to see you here. Wally and Mike say hi!

ETA:
What the heck did Rah do to get kicked out of agility?!
