Hi, My wife Rose and I have raised dogs for 30+ years here in Wi.. We are a foster home for the Elmbrook Humane Society. I am a Social worker and a DNR certified Wild life Tech 11. My Wife is a certified Wild life rehabilitater and also a Social Worker. The reason I am interested in this sight is that we recently are fostering a 2 year old Pit Bull untill "Reggie" can be placed in a loving home. This is one breed that we have never raised and need all the help we can get. By the looks of this sight it would seem that we could get helpful information here. Thanks Howie.

Hi Howie and welcome. :greenWave:

Wildlife Rehabilitator sounds like a very interesting career. Do you keep some of the animals at your home? What type of animals do you usually help?

Hi Joyce, our land is used as a release sight for the Wild Life in Need Center here in SE Wi. We have had just about every animal there is at one time or another..except Deer(CWD). We have cages and brush piles every where. I have Deer in my back yard right now in fact. Thanks Howie.

I have seen this sort of thing on TV ~ I am sure you have your "bad days" but it seems so exciting to an outsider! :)
