Hi from Michigan

Hi everyone

This is Allie. I live in SW Michigan with my wonderful bf and our 4 sweet bullies.
Here's the crew:
Jasmine Jay is our oldest and crankiest. She's an approx 8.5 year old choc lab pitty mix (we guess).

Piper Jorge is a crazy 2.5 year old boy who spends hours a day looking for the kitty, and laying on the heating vents:

Shades McGee is Piper's littermate. He's one of the weirdest dogs I've even known. He loves bird food and sleeping inside slippers:

Sidney Bean is our sweetheart rescue from Ontario. She loves to cuddle and eat. Sid would like nothing more than to lounge around all day long:

Welcome to the forum.. What made you fall in love with the breed? do you do anything with your dogs? agility? therapy? obedience??

What made me fall in love with the breed?
Well, I came into the breed by chance. My bf found Jasmine when she was a young pup. I met her about a year or so later and fell in love with her. What a unique dog she is-- so loyal & energetic with a LUST for life! Our family dog growing up was a schnauzer-- stubborn thing who didn't really care one way or another about us. (I love this little dog to death, don't get me wrong). Jasmine just blew me away, and at that time I didn't really know it had anything to do with the breed.
Some time later, on a trip, my bf picked up a dog from some people who were "moving and couldn't keep her". She just happened to be a pitty. This was my loving girl Bump. My very first dog all my own. She was an awesome girl (RIP sweetheart).
Ever since then, I've been hooked I guess. I love other breeds as well, but don't know if I could ever see myself owning a different breed. Pit bulls are what I know and love.
No, I don't do any work with my kids. They are house dogs. I am looking into having Shades evaluated for therapy work in the future. I have some things to work out with Sidney before we move on to Shades, though.

And what a sweetie she is! She was just meant to be with us, I know it. She fits right in and absolutely adores the other dogs.
