Hi my name is Beau
I have a 4 month old pit pup named Layla and I'm just looking for a little info.

I also have 2 mini Dachshunds (Charlie Brown and Lucy Van Pelt)
1 Basset hound (Julie)
and a hairless Rat named Daisy.

First off....I'd like to say that i didn't WANT a pit bull.
I was working with a guy who traveled with his pit bull male and he was an absolute dream of a dog. (I have dachs and bassets....the two most hard headed breeds there are)

Well on a trip home one day....we stumble on 3 puppies for sale. No papers but the fellow had both parents onsite. Like I said..no papers but no doubt full pit.

I kept one and gave my coworker the other two......The last 3 months with layla have been great. SOOO easy to train...very eager to learn.
I have to say.....I've been thinking all wrong about this breed for years.
But now I have a few questions.....

I love your choice of dog names!

My friend had a few Basset Hounds and those big ears were just the best.

How small is a mini-dachshund?

My daughter-in-law has a mini doc too. It got along great with my bully's.
It was a little scary at first when it was just a pup, no bigger then their muzzels but that is one fearless dog. Your mini will probably lord over all in no time at all.
