Another new member

Hello all, I'm Carrie from Central Illinois. I grew up with Pits and am currently awaiting my new ABDA pup. He's a beautiful blue brindle. I've always loved Pits and find that they are the best dogs. My dad has begun breeding in the last few years, but not on a large scale. He's got two females and 2 males(only 1 that he breeds, the other is just a pet). They come from pretty good stock, Mason's "CH""Hog" is in there and Davis'"CH""Boomerang". I also have a beagle mix (Dottie) that we rescued, she's a real sweetie. We have one cat(Snowball), who's become an outside pet since she couldn't seem to confine her waste products to the litter box. Let's see, then we have 2 ferrets(Chubs and Rascal), who are about 3 years old....very entertaining pets. I also have a husband and 3 boys that I have to feed and clean up after..... I've recently begun doing some serious research on my chosen breed and joining several forums to get info.
