Hi all. I am Josh from Simsbury, CT. I have one resuced APBT, Brie, pictured below. We rescued her at 3 months old, she'll be 2 in november. I fell in love with pit bulls as soon as she pee'd on my foot in the shelter and then looked at me with those eyes straight out of a Disney movie. I am involved in obedience training and aggression rehab. I also rescued a retired racing greyhound, Farmer, who is about 8 years old. We rescued him a few months after Brie. He's a handful.

thanks for the warm welcomes. as far as SAR I am considering using Brie as a search dog because a)she loves to find people and b)she'd be a great ambassador for her breed. imagine hating pitbulls after one finds you half starved in a ditch. but I do not currently handle any SAR dogs, however I do a lot of behavioral work when it comes to helping them get trained. whether it is basic training or helping a very good dog get over some minor thing that is hindering his career. I love SAR in general k9 or not and those dogs are so heroic.
