I've been involved with Pit Bulls for 4 years. I have 5 dogs, Tupac, Peppa, Lucky,Lita, and Foofy.
I got my first Pit Bull because I have always loved animals, and found out about a shady breeder, who was mistreating the puppies so I bought the last one to save it.
I then a year later when another of their litters came around bought another one, a girl this time.Hopefully this one saved a few or more from being born into a intolerant world.
I recently gave a home to a pitbull who was a purchase from a breeder who the man could no longer keep the dog due to rental problems he was having.
My other non-pitbull, I rescued from a shelter, he is my loving goofy boxer, named Lucky.
And my last but not least dog is a shih tzu named Foofy. Who was an unwanted love bug at a shelter, who was a stray, and has partial vision in one eye, but that doesn't stop her from showing the bigger dogs who's boss.
Luckily I live in an area that doen't BSL at this time, but does have lots of ignorant people who have much unjustified fear about the breed.
I have 1 other pet. I have 1 two legged teenager.
