My name is Joy and I live in Massachusetts. I own three dogs, one of which is a Pit Bull named Jaydee. I adopted Jaydee when she was about a year old from a shelter. Although she has been proven a challenge to me, I love her to bits. I am hoping to learn more about the breed, since Jaydee is my first Pit Bull that I have ever owned. I am a strong beleiver in spay/neuter and adopt/rescue and tend to preach it alot. I am hoping to learn more about the breed, since Jaydee is my first Pit Bull that I have ever owned.

There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

I have met a couple of pit bulls that were really sweet. I was always attracted to their low maintenance coat, friendly demeanor, and good looks (unique smile and almond eyes and unique markings).

The other two breeds that I own are "lab mixes" that look very mixed (one looks like a dingo and the other could be part pit bull, but I was told a lab/boxer mix). I had wanted a pit bull for my first dog but somehow Jaydee ended up to be my third dog. There seemed to be an overload of them in the shelters and they take longer to be adopted, so I guess it's a combination of feeling bad for them and being in love with them. I actually pulled Jaydee out of the kill shelter on her last day. When I saw her photo, somehow, I knew that she was the one.

This is actually the second forum that I am a member of, so some people may already know me. I am hoping to learn as much as I can about the breed.
