This is going to be the second time typing this... Since the lovely dog decided to push the "Power Off" button on the keyboard.

Oh, yeah, about him... He's a 7 month old Pit named Patch who just got neutered on Tuesday. He's 70lbs and not done growing. We've had him since he was 7 weeks old. I'm not sure what "kind" of Pit he is... People keep saying he's got Terrier in him, but I don't know. I've always had Pits, but I'm lost on this one. *So if you wanna give your opinion, I'd appreciate it... as long as it'll let me post a pic of him*

We found him through an add in the paper - He was my Christmas present. His dad was 95lbs and I have no clue about his mom because we didn't see her since she was in the house. Pretty sure he's gonna be big like his dad, though. I've also got two cats, but since they are too old and Patch is too roudy, we keep him babygated from them.

As for me, my name's Stacie but you can call me Stac. I'm 23 and live in Spotsylvania, Virginia with my boyfriend. He didn't want to get a dog, but me constantly whining for one, he broke down and got me one. I heard about this site through a lady that works at Petsmart. I'm not that interesting and don't like talkin' about myself, unless you ask questions.

It's a few months old, but here's a picture of Patch.

Welcome! Your dog definitely has terrier in him - American Pit Bull Terrier. *wink* Maybe a smidgeon of American Bulldog as well? I don't know - he's cute and that's all that matters!!!

Probably not a good thing to say to us, Sweetie.

What color is your hair?
Do you like diet soda?
Have you seen any good movies lately?
What color is your kitchen?
Does your vehicle get good gas mileage?
Did you ever wonder if horoscopes are really true?
Do you get General Hospital in Virginia?

Thank you all for the welcome. He's my lil' man. I'll definitley try and get some more pictures on here. Also, thanks for givin' a lil' bit of info about what kind is he. Yall said more than my vet would "Do a blood test" is what they said. Right. Considering they wanted $500 to neuter him.

you didn't pay the 500 for neutering did you?

sounds to me like you need to vet shop a bit.....

Heck no! I've got one of the more expensive vets here because of a "category" they're in (So the vet said). I called a bunch of other vets on prices and the cheepest I could find was $200 and that didn't include the meds to take home afterwards. They also wanted to do an exam on him, even though he just went like 3 months ago.

I ended up finding out about a place here called the Kinchloe Spay and Neuter Clinic. They do only those things and base it on the dogs weight. So I only ended up paying $90 with free nail clipping, plus the pain meds and anti-biotics to bring home. They made me buy an E-collar, which he hasn't needed.
