Hi from Wisconsin!

Please tell us about yourself! You will not be able to post on the rest of the board until you have posted here

Hi!

My name is Anna, and I live in (cold!) Wisconsin! I currently have three dogs (none of which are bully breeds) and two cats. I'm homeschooled, and in my spare time, I work with the dogs/cats, volunteer for the HS, do some boxing, and have recently begun to ride horses.

My fascination with the American Pit Bull Terrier began when I fostered a pit bull puppy for my local humane society. I was amazed by her intelligence, spirit, and eagerness to please. This was about three years ago. Since then, I have spent countless hours learning as much about the bully breeds that I can, learning how to fight BSL, and spreading the good word about these amazing dogs. I do not currently own any pit bulls, but I definitely will in the future. I really admire their versatility, athleticism, and goofy personalities. I work with many of them at the humane society, and they are so much fun to be around!

I also belong to http://www.pitbullforum.com, but for some reason, I haven't been able to log in for the past couple of days! Luckily, I can come here to get my pit bull fix! Hopefully, I'll be able to use both forums soon!

Here's some pictures of Bella, the girl I fostered...

Hi Anna,

Welcome to the board. :greenWave: I'm not a bully owner, either (see my signature), but they still allow me to hang around!

Pitties are very intelligent (my boyfriend used to have one that I loved)...

It sounds like you are very involved...you'll fit in just perfectly!!!

:greenWave: Welcome Anna. You are doing the best thing. Learn everything you can and then when you get a dog you will be very prepared. I did it backwards :rolleyes2: but the people here helped me tremendously.

Beautiful! Maya looks calm and patient, and Lexie looks like she's up to mischief! Cute! And the kitties are beautiful too!

BTW...I love Wisconsin. :) My older sis lives in Madison, and I love visiting.
