Pit_Owner's intro

I live in Marlborough, MA and my parents live in Randolph. they are the ones who actually house the family dog:P We own a beautiful 15 year old female american red nose pitbull terrier named Patches:) She is sterile though, due to the unfortunate incident of her father (who we also owned) empregnating her too young. We had to stop the pregnancy and remove her uterus to prevent infection:( We were hoping that we could get a litter from her, like with her father, when she grew older. Though that plan had been stopped. We got Patches' father, Gandolph, when i was about 7 or 8 years old and i loved him sooooooo much. Until then, i hadn't heard of pitbulls, but i loved this one. He was so playful and loving, we would play for hours on the kitchen floor. I would shove him with my bare feet and he would regain his footing and scamper back and we would play for so long. I think he enjoyed it as much as i did:) I plan to get a breeder's license and breed pits. At the same time, I'll try to help educate those who come to look at the puppies.

i love pitbulls and i would never want SB 861 to compromize their right to be part of any family, no matter where they lay.

Great that you are concerned about BSL. I was wondering what type of breeder's license it is that you are referring to. If you post in this thread more information about yourself, Admin can give you access.

Someone wanted to join the forum after they saw the link on Cheeky's myspace. But they inadvertently posted their intro on her myspace. SO, Cheeky transferred it to PBT.

Welcome to the forum!

A breeders license doesn't make someone a responsible breeder.
That takes years of research and a good understanding of the breed in general and pedigrees.

There is a ton of good info on this site and we are also here to answer any questions you may have in the future

For the record, I believe SB 861 was a bill for California, and it was passed.
