hi, my name is jesse and i am from long island, ny. i have been training dogs for a few years now and i have recently become involved with rescue.

last february, my girlfriend (nicki) and i pulled a female pittie named birdie out of a long island shelter. we fostered/trained her for 5 months and then adopted birdie out to 'Hoyden' of this forum. we currently are fostering another female pittie named rosie who is one of the sweetest bullies i have ever met.

i also belong to the spbr.org (pb-smiles.com) pit bull forum. i support this breed for so many reasons. i love there intellegence as well as there ability to bond and connect with humans. they are simply different from other dogs. i also feel that more than any other breed, they are truly in need of a voice.

thanks and i look forward to being a part of this group. :)
