Hi everyone! :greenWave:

I just joined the forum, but I have been a fan for some time now. My buddy, Marine Pits, sends me some of the coolest threads. SO, I figured I would join myself! :wink:

Because of my job, I see a lot of the breed and I am always a big supporter for positive examples of any breed that is unfairly discriminated against. As far as bullies, the closest we have is an English Mastiff. :P Her name is Gracie Lou and will be 4 years old next month. All but one of our 8 dogs are rescues, so we have quite the full house.

And boy do we have Labs! We have 3 of those in our petting zoo. All yellow. And three Chihuahuas and one weener dog. Here is a picture of them all together!

OK... I will do. I have to run out for work, but when I get back, I will fill you in. We are also listed under the SPORT section of the home page of this forum under "Team Blabador" Dock diving site (or something to that effect). :P

Hate to run off, as I am SO excited to get involved, but duty calls. :mrgreen: I wish they would just pay me for being a really nice person so I could talk with all my new friends.... :?

FINALLY, someone that owns REAL dogs! :rolleyes2: I even tried to rename this place Labrador-talk, but then Admin came back from vacation.

You guys are so nice... and too funny! :backRoll: All dogs count, in my opinion. :bounce:

Gosh.... my dogs are like yours... they are big love beasts, the apples in my eye, they are in my heart, and they are a big part of why I get up in the morning (or is it because they are bugging me to get up... not sure :rolleyes2: ). I work with animals and these are the toss aways, if you can believe it (have a mentioned how much some people need to be culled from the population?? :pissed: ) . They all had or have some sort of health problem(s) that we deal with. But, for the most part, they are normal dogs with a lot of heart and soul who just needed someone to care... and most dogs are, right? :groupHug: (I have to say... you guys have THE best emoticons I have ever seen)

With the labs, we had to find something for them to do that would be fun for them and get their energy out. Enter: dock diving! And Gracie decided one day that she, too, would like to give this sport a try. She loves to swim and even fetches.

But, after that video was taken, we entered her in a few competitions and ya know what she did? :rolleyes2: She rolled around on the dock, kicking her feeties in the air and giving the crowd quite the comic relief! :wink3:

So, mostly she gets to swim around in the pool in between the competition rounds, until we can figure out how to get her into the pool in front of a crowd. She is one goofy, but loveable little girl. :loveU:
