:greenWave: Newbie here., jeez so new took me some time how to figure out how to post an introduction! Anyway, I live in Redwood City, CA - About 20 miles from San Francisco. I'm married with an 18 year old (thank the lord), and a beautiful pit bull named Chico, aka Brindle Baby. I've never owned a pit bull, and this is my first pup. Looooovee him! He is currently 6 months old, and is overall a good pup. He knows how to sit, stay, come and heel. I bought him from a private seller, he was one of 7. The only brindle. By the time I contacted her, she only had two left - Chico and his sister (black pup). Could not believe no one took him! ALL MINE! Yahoo! Anyway - hello to everyone. Hope to learn and share with all. (9 weeks in pic)

First of all, I was seeking a pup, a companion. But I didn't want a poodle, or anything small. But I didn't want a huge German Shepard either. So...started checking out medium sized dogs. And...I started reading about the pit bull. I agreed that the bad RAP is due to the people, and not the breed. (I also believe the media is ignorant in this topic). And liked the character of the pit bull - his cleanliness, short hair, loyalty, intelligence, and most of all, the love he's capable of giving. So...I figured, I would help take one pit bull that was available and raise him well, and keep him from the clutches of people who like to use them for fighting. There are many more reasons, but those are the main ones. Thanks for asking!
