Spirit and I have been on the road for about 15 months now. Motorcycle and his sidecar... many Parks... camping on the Deserts and National Forests... much cooking and people we have met. I keep a Blog a few times a week with many pictures... http://www.theoasisofmysoul.com
Would love to post an intro of the Blog here every time it is published.
There are not been ANY problems with the fact that he is a Pit... how can anyone resists him riding down the road with his Doogles and helmet on!

Today I am making chistmas eve calamari in an anchovi puntanesca sauce to be served on crusty bread... :D

Thank you for the warm welcome... fuzzy too!!! And Happy Holidays to you all... Spirit is waiting for his huge... Treat I made for him yesterday! with Peanut Butter...
Why a Pit?... I had a girl friend that raised them and just love them. Spirit was 48 hours from joining his relatives up there, it was a battle to rescue him 3 years ago... but we won and I think he knows it! He is a total sweetheart... incredibly well behaved and too intelligent for my own good!
Why on the road?... I have always been on the road... or waters with 28 years on a sailboat. Never worked more than 6 months a year... but we are comfortable. A Family mishap made me get on the path that we are now. (lost only child 4 years ago). Life is too short... balance it out and do what you desire... Mother Nature in our case...
