I am Kaye Smith current director of Small Time Dog Rescue located in Oregon. My group is working on a second rescue and it will specialize in Pit Bull rescue. Our name will be Dead Dog Walking. I have been in rescue for six years; four of them running Small Time. I also work full time and I have two kids and an awesome husband. My rescue partners are incredible. We have an enthusiastic group I feel very lucky to have such wonderful people in my rescue.
I personally am owned by five dogs. I also currently have one foster dog in our home. But, this will end soon, for I know of more Pit Bulls in need. So, I will probably have a new puppy by the end of the day.

"All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another." -Anatole France
I have wondered that myself. I did call them after his adoption to make sure all was well, and then of course there were some postings. I need to email them and ask. Aries/Bear was an awesome dog. We didn't have him long either.
Nala as far as I know is doing great. Her people emailed me to say how sweet she is. Her three legged brother and her love each other. She runs like she is 'special' and then Hobbies is three legged, so it is funny to see to 'special' kids in the same home. Nala was a once in a lifetime Pit Bull. Incredible personality..........very hard to let her go.
