Does it matter who goes out the door first?

Just like I trained my husband, I've trained my dogs that I go through the door first. Sometimes I'll let them go ahead of me but they have to wait for me to give the ok first. It's totally a personal thing that one of my pet peeves is dogs that barge rudely through doors. Same goes for hubby.
