What's the oddest thing you've ever used to reward a dog?

I had a dog in one of my classes yesterday who decided that my jeans smelled really good. He didn't care about any of the treats I had, he just wanted to sniff the leg of my jeans. I had been around several dogs all morning, so I'm guessing that's why he was so interested. So sniffing my leg became his reward. It's probably one of the oddest rewards I've ever used, but hey...whatever works!

I've never really used unusual objects, but Indy has a crazy fondness for Jelly Belly popcorn flavoured jelly beans, LOL.

I have a fondness of those too! My unusual object is a pinecone...had a dog once who just went crazy for them.

A friend had a rescued Rotti with a strange attitude. The Rotti only played with car tyres, nothing else but went crazy for them. So one car tyre was placed in the garden, one in the yard. For the training outside she used a small tyre of a scooter which was easier to carry. She was quickly known as the tyre-lady :D

Score loves when I whistle for him...not a "come here" whistle but just a happy little tune...he really likes "Strangers in the Night". :|
