I just talked to the puppy class about this last week.

Just now, I hear rustling and snuffling in the breakfast nook/room...where the shelves of food are. I can't see back in there from here. I say in a loud voice..."Hey!". Inara pokes her head around the doorframe, smiles at me ("hey back!") and goes back in to resume rustling and snuffling.

I get up, go into the room, and she comes scooting out licking her lips (so does Fry-cat)...and there is an open bag of Beneful on the floor (from a boarding dog). :rolleyes2: Guess my "Hey" wasn't really the best command to use...:giggle:

I'm bad about this - if Inara is pestering the cat or just being a PITA, I have a tendency to just say, "Inara!" and expect her to know exactly what I mean. Shockingly enough, she doesn't. :|

Oh, I know those too. :wave2:

There's "HEY!", "AH!", and my favorite "What the H@$%!!!" The dogs ususally interupt what they're doing for a nano second, look in my directon, and then resume all annoying activities.
