"The tripod has taken over" says In Too Deep's foster mom. This gorgeous 4 month old, 30 to 35 lb. female pit bull was brought to the Liberty Animal Shelter in Jersey City, NJ after being hit by a car. One of her legs was so badly damaged that it had to be amputated, but she's doing just fine without it. Currently recuperating in a home with other dogs, she does fine with both males and females, but she does like to run the place. In Too Deep is affectionate with those she's familiar with, but understandably wary of strangers. She can be very vocal with people she doesn't know, but her foster mom is working on it and says the pup is doing much better. Once she's fully healed, this special girl won't need any additional treatment and doesn't need to be treated differently than any other dog. She would love to go to a home where she'd be exposed to the world and all the things she's never seen before. Because she has a dominant personality, a home with a submissive male or no other dogs at all would be best.
In Too Deep is currently in foster, but she is looking for a forever home! If you have room in your heart for this special pup, please contact Nikki at NDawson03@aol.com to make arrangements to meet her. The Liberty Animal Shelter is located at 235 Jersey City Boulevard, (Exit 14C off the NJ Turnpike, across from Liberty Science Center parking lot entrance) Jersey City, NJ
