Roxy is receiving training for one month. By mid September, Roxy will be ready for a new home. She is a wonderful dog, the trainer tells us she is very smart. She is also a nice sized, smaller female Pit Bull.
A small female Pit Bull was thrown from a car. That dog was Roxy. A Good Samaritan got Roxy to the hospital where she spent the night and went home the next day to a wonderful foster mom who was to nurse her, nurture her and all around love on her until she transitioned to the rescue.
Roxy miraculously did not have a broken bone anywhere. Her paws were raw but are healing nicely now due to the care of her foster mom. She is now eating special food to add some gloss to her coat and has been spayed, micro-chipped, and is up to date on all shots.
Roxy was given her name because of the heart shape made of white fur on her left hind quarters. It is in the shape of a true heart and very special, like Roxy.
Roxy has a lot to offer just the right person or family. She loves to snuggle and will curl up right in your lap. She loves all people, especially children and babies. Roxy is not good with cats though, so that is a no-no for her. She is currently in doggie boot camp where she is receiving one-on-one training with a wonderful volunteer trainer. Roxy will be completely trained soon and ready for her new home thanks to this kind hearted person who is allowing Roxy to live in her home during training.
As you can see, Roxy is very beautiful with a light brindle coat which has lots of white accents to go along with the heart shape. This girl is small, maybe 40 pounds at the most. She may be small but she has a lot to offer. Will you be the lucky person to benefit from her love?
