How come? There is SO much evidence that pets are beneficial to sick people.

I think we're honestly talking about hospice care here...they said that they might be ready for Daisy in a few weeks. I didn't push for any more info. :( I told them that Daisy would most likely still be available...and they're happy about that.

That definitely is a very sad and stressful situation. :(
Bringing in a new dog at a time like this would add tons more stress for everyone, and I'm glad they decided to wait, for Daisys sake.

Daisy has a home...they're coming to get her tonight, after a successful meet n' greet this afternoon! Same family...:D
