Animal Aid Inc.

Postby iluvk9 » April 4th, 2009, 6:33 pm

My friend Gerda, who has a heart of gold, just got her rescue website up. Animal Aid is a 501 (C) 3 not for profit organization.

I especially would like you to look at the "About" section. Gerda has written a beautiful introduction. When you see the photo of Gerda and Sugar (RIP) in her hospital bed, you will surely be brought to tears.

This woman is an Angel, in my eyes. I am very fortunate to have her as a friend. I have learned so much from her about dogs and life.

Thank you for looking:

Her site looks great, and you're right - those hospital pics are so heart-warming.

Ditto, just what I was thinking. :)
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure....

Gerda is one of a kind. I am so fortunate to have met her when she was the owner/Director of a shelter on Long Island. I am also proud to call her my friend.

*UPDATE*

Gerda has decided to retire (again) :giggle: and has a new young woman, taking over Animal Aid.

I have been helping list animals and write their bios on their website, until someone who really knows computers can take over.

MANY OF THEIR DOGS ARE NOW PIT BULLS COMING FROM NY ANIMAL CONTROL, http://www.nycacc.org, as they were always Gerda's first love.

Interested in a horse? A goat? A blind calf? Cat? They have them, too! :)

Please take a moment to look at the site and spread the link to others. :wave2:

Thank you, Bob. I actually laughed as I wrote that post, knowing you would get a chuckle at my "webmaster status".
