Here's the latest PM from the rescuer.

"I'm also not sure that Moon is healthy enough to travel that far. She started having bloody, loose stools last night Sad
There is someone that I talked to today interested in possibly adopting. They want to think it over for a few days."

Let me know if she still needs a foster...*fingers crossed for an adoption!*

Keep me posted. That would be great if she was adopted! :D

I don't know how I missed this :( She is such a pretty lady. I hope the adoption works out.

Latest update from Rachel.

"Everyone has been so supportive. I want to thank everyone who has made a donation so far towards her care and everyone who has offered help.
Moon developed some bloody diarrhea which we are hoping is just from too many treats from the shelter volunteers and staff (fecal and parvo test were negative). She will most likely be coming home with me on friday and see the vet then. There is a family here in Baltimore considering adopting her but they are torn since they recently lost a dog to old age. They want to think about it until after the New Year."

She is a beautiful mature lady. I'm so hoping the adoption takes place, although being a foster in some of the homes on this forum could be the bird nest on the ground...the fosters here get such wonderful care and love.

She could go to Erin's first and then go to Jeanine's when she is in better shape perhaps? She is a cuuute old lady!

That would be perfect, but Rachel wants to take her to the vet first and wait a few days to see if the Baltimore people adopt her.

I haven't heard anything yet. I'm pretty sure she's going to the vet today, so we should know something later in the day. :)

Fingers and paws crossed for good news from the vet. I hope she gets into a good home soon.

Latest post:

The diarrhea has improved. I have received enough in donations to cover about half of the initial vet work she needs. Moon remains in good spirits is always happy to have a vistor. Haven't heard anything from the potential adopter.

I asked if she is taking her home and am waiting for a reply.

The latest on Moon.

Some of the kennel staff thought the family that might be interested was going to come back this weekend so I left her there last night. If they don't come in today she's coming home with me tonight. Her vet appointment is Monday (the earliest i could get).

Latest on Moon:

Moon was so happy just to get into the car it was pathetic. She did well on the 45 minute ride home. Now I'm having fun watching her 14 year old wobbly self and Jezzy hopping on 3 legs trying to figure out who is boss. Lots of sniffing and while tails and bodies are relaxed I can tell this is a subdued power struggle by the way they are holding their heads up so high.
I am going to separate them for a while and let them settle while I unwind from work
