September 14-21
Jabba the Mutt, as he is affectionately called by the staff of the MSPCA-WNE, was surrendered last April when his owners felt they could no longer afford to care for him. Jabba had been living as an outdoor-only dog, along with his brother and mother. Sadly, Jabba's brother would attack him over food, causing Jabba to be both terribly thin and covered in scars. Since arriving at the MSPCA-WNE, Jabba has gained weight and won the hearts of staff, volunteers, and visitors. More than five months have passed and Jabba has not yet found his forever home. Because he has been kenneled for five long months, Jabba is beginning to lose heart. In hopes of helping Jabba finally find his forever home, his devoted fan club at the MSPCA-WNE has designated the last week of summer, September 14-21, as Adopt Jabba the Mutt Week in order to find our friend the loving, forever home he desperately wants and deserves.
