We need your support for the Fifth Annual Animal Rescue Kayak and Bike event.
Bluff Point State Park, Groton, CT Saturday, June 21st, 2008, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (rain or shine)

Bring the family for a day at the beach full of fun and prizes! There will be four kayak courses for paddlers of any ability; and this year will include a mountain bike course.

This kayak and bike event, for paddlers and pedalers, will raise money to support our Marine Animal Rescue Program. This program consists of veterinary staff and volunteers who rescue sick or injured seals, sea turtles and other marine animals along our New England coast. But, the cost of caring for one of these animals can be enormous, costing well over $100 a day for food, medicine and care. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the donations made by supporters and participants of the ARK event.

If you would like to make a tax deductible donation in support of animal rescue please go to our Firstgiving.com/ARK_donations page.

If you would like to participate as a paddler, a pedaler, or a virtual kayaker, please Get Started Here!

If you would like to sponsor a friend or family member participating as a paddler or pedaler, please search for them under: Sponsor a Friend!

Or, if you prefer to download the registration and donation forms and mail them in with your donation and/or registration fee, please download forms here!

Participants who raise over $200 in pledges will receive an invitation to an exclusive Seal Watch onboard the Sunbeam Fleet hosted by Aquarium Stranding Team experts. Other great prizes will be given to top fund raisers.

Special thanks to our sponsors:
