a friend of mine
This is from a friend of mine, Ann,
She does bloodhound rescue, and searching for lost/missing ones, posted this...

At this point this dog is also available for adoption.... as noone is claiming him....

This young red male bloodhound was found wandering highway 14 in Sparta Missouri after a storm in February. After seeing him on the highway for a second day the person stopped and picked him up, so he would not get hit. No one has responded to the posters, nor has anyone contacted the local animal control claiming him. He is a young intact male, red with some white on his chest. He seems very playful and sweet. He is presently being fostered in Sparta, MO. Please contact me if you know who owns him and I can give you the contact information.

Thanks,
Ann

Please email me at atrulli@aol.com if you know who owns this lovely boy.

yes if anyone is looking for tracking and or other working dog sports type of dog.... this dog would probably fit the bill for a small cost.

Ann is willing to do microchip and neuter herself....

vaccines are all that would be someone's responsibility other than possibly some board costs.... but maybe not even that.

I'm sure i can work out transportation.... via the truckers network to get him to where he needs to be.

bloodhounds are known to be very good with other dogs.... he's not shown any issues with other animals.... and he's keeping his area clean, ie signs of being housebroken....

big responsibility with bloodhounds is keeping ahold of them.... because if they get a scent they will continue following it for miles and miles....

they can be trained to come when called.... but... its not super easy.

a new owner HAS to have a fenced in yard.... and not be a first time dog owner.... looking for a cute couch potatoe.
