Thrown out on his ear - A little Graphic

Postby gayrghts » December 14th, 2007, 4:54 am

Geesh and i was even afraid to use rat/mouse poison to kill my mice....

i'm on coumadin... vit k and green leafy veggies work well.... they didn't put him on antibiotics did they? because they cause blood to clot LESS ie to bleed more....

Have they given you anything for him to keep him quiet, Yvette? It might be a good idea until he can clot a bit better, since he is a puppy.

Who are these people who do these things and where do they come from? :| :nono:

No, just said crate him, in a small crate small enough he can't bang around. He's really resting well, he's quite TIRED as one would be from basically, severe anemia :(
I didn't know that about antibiotics - she had said, before we knew about the rat poison, he might need them.
HE IS NOT BLEEDING STILL!!!!

He's doing really well - the vet said if he can make it this first week on the Vitamin K that he'll survive...and he's doing well so far. He has a catheter in his front leg which we haven't removed...yet...scared to unplug a hole, you know??

I'll let the pics speak for themselves. We brought him out potty but other than that he has to stay crated since any bumps could lead to bruising and bleeding.
