Maybe a year old. She needs an adoptive home or, failing that, a rescue to help out. I think she's a little homely, but she has a fantastic personality, huggable and kissable and she is miserable at the shelter. Keeps looking at me like "WHY are you doing this to me!?" when I put her back in her run. Today she didn't try to dart out the door like usual. She's been here just a week tomorrow. But I only had one person inquire on her petfinder ad, and they have not written back...not a good sign...

Thanks, I don't know why it wouldn't work!
I'd never put a dog like this to sleep, I just feel bad for her because she really wants to be someone's dog! I'll work on a rescue for her if nobody adopts.

No problem.
If she really is a great dog with a solid temperment you could try to contact Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA as they are constantly pulling dogs from out of state and easily place them (no kill, HIGH turnover, especially with young dogs).
