The Dog Sports Open is slowly approaching....
What type of training, scheming, and coaching?
Will you need to do to outwit the field?
I could just tell you, but my lips are sealed...
Nothing that a good dog shouldn't already do...
But come when called, is nothing new!
Will he come when you are here?
Will he come when you are there?
Will he come close enough?
Oh, dear, I might say too much!!
You have learned well.. but listen
way before the sunlight glistens..
on the field of training, you should make sure
your dog will come to you, without any lure..
and come close, to the spot that you desire..
or surely you might end up in (gulp) fire!!!!

There might be a drop on recall, my guess is that it will be recalls over/under things, or your dog figuring out ways to get back to you. We do that work on the playground - which has led to some spectacular fails

Restrained recalls would be great...except for Inara.... We do these in flyball! Holding the stay will be hard for Fig, but the others can do it...I'm excited
