Michelle was a Girl Scout up until her Jr. year of high school and earned her Silver award.

I'm a Gold Award Scout, as well as a lifetime member of Girl Scouts...

Well done Michelle!

Thanks! I enjoyed Girl Scouts, and went to camp every year from second grade until my between my sophomore and jr years. I climbed more than half of the 46 High Peaks on back packing trips with them.

What do you do to get your Gold award? If I remember correctly, you have to do a big project, similar to an Eagle Scout one.

I (no surprise here), made three dog houses for the local no-kill shelter, and a brochure for them to hand out about adopting dogs. :)
