I have 3 "tips" (is that the tape on the belt??) on my white belt, when I get my black I can test for gold belt. It feels so good to be doing something like this at 41...it is a blast. And the kids, I thought would be embarrased, at 14 and 11, but they aren't and they are happy I'm doing it!

He just turned 5 this month. So last night I got my 1st tip on my belt. When the instructor called my name I didn't answer because I was like he wasn't calling me. Then he called me again and I got up. When I got home my son got so excited that I got a tip. It was really cool.

Last night's class had 10 adults plus 5 teenagers. It was a packed class. I am still trying to get the moves though. I feel like a spaz. The one thing I have to say though is when I leave that class I am so soaked with sweat I need a shower. It is an awesome feeling of accomplishment though.
