Another one bites the dust... Just got the call I didn't want. And I'm on my way to a photo shoot so I can't even attempt to start to wrap my head around it.

I'm so afraid to say anything because when it falls through and I don't get it, it just feels worse...

But today the people who didn't hire me two weeks ago called the temp company and asked if I was still available, they want to interview me for a different position.

They sent a really nice email (after they didn't hire me) to the company thanking them for the last interview and saying that they might have a position in the future that they'd interview me for. (according to the temp company) that is really rare to have happen, and even when it does the "maybe we'll contact you in the future about that person" is a standard line and almost never actually pans out.

So, here's hoping I get another crack at it, at least another interview would be nice. It's a huge company so just because they have an opening and asked to talk to me doesn't mean that I'm not going up against other people.

I want to be positive, but not hopeful... if that makes sense?

Makes perfect sense, and I shall think positive thoughts for you. When is the interview? I want to make sure I'm directing my most positive thoughts your way at the right time.

Went ok. I'm their first interview for the position, but they listed it today as well, so who knows.

I interviewed with the guy who got the job that I didn't, which was kinda weird. Those interviews were the first week in October, and he hasn't officially started yet - so it's a looooong process.

Got a call today. I'm still in the running but they have another interview on Monday. I went into a full blown panic attack when they said who was calling... I won't have any info until next week, possibly after Thanksgiving.

Maybe an interview...
