chicken wishbone question

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

Postby HappyPuppy » July 15th, 2010, 6:51 pm

OK - I'm not very superstitious...but..... I found an old chicken wishbone in my catch-all drawer and DH and I pulled the 'arms' of it - but both of us broke an arm off and the tip went flying. Now, we both ended up wishing for the same thing, so are we screwed or double lucky ?!?

Double lucky, but only if you bury the pieces in the backyard under a full moon. :D

I actually just googled "wishbones and superstition". 8) Some VERY interesting people have weighed in on the subject.

Alas, no one said anything about two pieces breaking even and the tip flying off. :wave2: But it was certainly interesting reading.

(go ahead...google it....I am sure someone will....) :neener:
