Here are some pictures I got on our way back home. We had to detour a few times so we got to see a lot of really crazy places...
The maxima is stopped. The water here was more than knee deep:
This is just outside of our neighborhood. It's hard to see, but by the center median there are two cars that are almost completely submerged:
This is in our neighborhood, just two blocks from our house. Thankfully our street is higher, but I am really worried about the people who live in those houses.
It is sheer chaos around here. So many cars are stranded, and rescue crews are having to use boats to get people to safety.
It is supposed to continue raining for a few hours...and then storm again this evening. eek.
