Halloween/Christmas Tattoo

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

I think the reason that "we" are seeing wings (the first thing I thought was "bat") is that there are white lines in the color. If they were filled in so that they weren't quite so bright it would tone down the look quite a bit.

Was it supposed to look like furrow / plow lines in a field?

I also think connnecting the color from side to side would help, so that it's not two definite "chunks."

I'm working on it in Photoshop right now actually, hopefully we can find a few things you might like :)

THANKS MICHELLE...
Honestly, Gerry said the same things about filling in the white streaks....I've looked through so many pages of his portfolio and haven't' seen ANYTHING like this............. :( :|

I think that will help alot! If it's more fluid then just the presence of the tree will make it more indicative of ground.

I almost wonder if he could color in that middle part and make it look like water or a pond or something. I small reflection of the tree in the pond would be cool!

How many sittings total is it going to take to finish it?

Probably five, including the touch up. So far I've had two three hour sessions.
