Update:

This old broad is going to college!!!! :dance:

I got accepted. Took my entrance exam today and I go to orientation tomorrow morning. They want me to start winter quarter. It has been a very long time since I have been in school but I am very excited to start a new career. My goal is set for nursing and my opportunities are endless right now.

I still need good thoughts for more things to fall into place. I have an opportunity for a job at the hospital while in school and this will help tremendously with my education.

Please keep sending anything you got for this job opportunity to come through. Thank you

Got my schedule and books today. Holy cow, books and tuition are expensive. All going to be worth it though. :dance:

Monday and Wednesday, two classes: 8:00-12:20 One online class. I love my advisor. She did the same thing I did. Was in business administration all her life and then made a career move for job security. She was honest, supportive and made me feel great about my decision.

She also explained to me that the hospital that I am waiting to hear back from regarding the job, is very pro continued education. If I can just get my foot in the door they will work with me on hours and school. The director of the nursing department makes sure that you are placed where you can learn the most. It all sounds wonderful to me but I still need that job!!!!!
