It is a show about NYPD firefighters. It is very intense at times but also very comical. I guess you could call it a real life show.

Sooooo I gotta ask..do ya'll not get enough real life in real life? I'm just kidding. I'm not much of a TV watcher so i always get a kick out of teasing folks that are...just ask my hub. He'll have 4 tv's all on the same channel so he can walk from room to room yelling at the game.

I've never seen this show but have heard good things about it. Do they have this on DVD yet so I can start at the beginning?

Matt, you would love it. I am not sure if the first couple of seasons are out on DVD yet or not. I want to say that I have seen them at my movie store, but I am not sure.

Yes, they are on DVD! And they're tons of fun to watch when you're snowed-in for the day -- you'll laugh until your sides hurt.

I just shut off my DirecTv last night. I was going to get Netflix instead so my children dont go through total television withdrawl. My daughter has already disowned me, though. When I told her we didnt need the tv she just looked at me, shook her head, and walked away. She thinks im crazy.

I will also try to get these shows. This is the one with Denis Leary, right? He is so cute! In an older, funny guy way.
