I found beef shank on sale for $1.50/pound! They were all packaged individually, about 1/2 pound in each package. They make for an awesome, hassle-free dog dinner... I bought all of them, about 20 packages.

My cab came literally 5 minutes after I called, so none of Beasts ice cream melted.

And the dog absolutely ADORES me now - he "showed" me the precious beef shank bone about a hundred times already.


Ah, it's definitely the little things that thrill me these days.

I walked to the coffee shop for breakfast this morning and took Renee along. I managed not to lose my temper completely during the whole outing, and Renee behaved herself for the most part. I did have to walk backwards part of the way to keep her from dragging me across the street to chase a squirrel, but I got her to leave the dead bird on the sidewalk alone.
