Thing(s) that made me happy today...

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

A lady who brings the MOST delicious cake for us at work, brought some today, AND fantastic brownies AND cheesecake-graham crust-nut squares. I LOVE MRS. COBRIN. lol

And, we'll be visiting more houses/duplexes over the weekend. WE'RE GETTING A BACKYARD SOON (who gives a damn about the house?)! After 10 years of not having a yard, and now walking 2 dogs, I'm just about peeing my pants thinking about it.

The somewhat reactive pit bull in my basic obedience class showed a ton of improvement tonight. I think a few things clicked for her owner tonight and I have high hopes for them. It's so wonderful to see someone get it and be better able to enjoy their dog.

My day was made by the religious group that came into work and a woman was clapping and snapping in time to the song 'Pumped Up Kicks'.

I got a 3/4 length vintage mink coat from my parents for my birthday. It's from the 40's, and in beautiful shape. I would never buy new fur, but stuff that's been dead twice as long as I've been alive is ok with me. ;)

Don't worry, I'll buy you new fur and you can wear it guilt-free.

Score just left for his second flyball weekend in a row. Some of our teammates are taking him to southern VA for a tourney. He was a bit worried when I started packing his bag, but we didn't go anywhere. Then Steve showed up, and Score ran to the door and waited...I had to coax him over to say goodbye. lol

River and I just titled for the first time this weekend-- Rally Novice, a second place finish with 93 points. I'm pretty proud of her. We've come a long way.

:) :) :)

Our trainer just emailed me-- her puppy class is growing and growing and she wondered if another student and I would be interested in doing a "trainer in training" type program, helping her with the puppy classes.

Excited to do this, and super excited that her business is growing so much so quickly, and in a down economy, no less.

AND, the insurance company finally got their collective head out of their ass and realized the problems with the settlements I'd been offered.

So far so good, Friday. Don't eff it up.
