Yes, she tried to pull out that little sun dress for dinner the night we were there. I convinced her if I wasn't getting dressed up, she wasn't either. :nono:

This has to be the funniest spam/fake email I have gotten in awhile.

It was from the FBI :)

It started with; "You have not complied, so there is a warrant out for your arrest." There was an attachment (NO BOB, I DID NOT OPEN IT!).

I am thinking, if the FBI was after me, wouldn't they just come to my door and get me? If they know my email, they must know where I live. I am in the white pages. 8)

I know people want pups from good breeders... a bunch of friends just got sport mix pups from a top flyball team. These pups are in great hands, and will be great flyball dogs. But I still can't past the sport mix breedings. Especially when I've got other friends desperately needing homes for rescue dogs, and other friends posting about "free to good home" puppies from idiot neighbors. I know that the first group isn't going to scoop up the rescue/free dogs even if the sport mixes weren't available...but it still pains me a bit.

*sigh*

Two things:

1) Son and DIL went fishing. Her parents have 2 boats, so they take the smaller one. The other day, Christina caught a 34" Bluefish. Today they go again, and she catches a 32" AND a 34" Bluefish. Thank God I have nothing in my freezer so they have someplace to put it all.

2) My Dad always took "33 millimeter films" of us. His movie camera had 6 gigantic light bulbs on the sides that made him look like a moose. My sister in OR held onto them all. HUNDREDS. She sends me the ones labeled "Jimmy Joe". (That's what my Dad called him). I can't see them because no one really has a projector for those reels. I bring them to Costco and have them made into DVD's....sight unseen.

WELL, TURNS OUT THEY ARE MY BABY SHOWER, JIMMY COMING HOME FROM HOSPITAL, HIS FIRST STEPS, HIS FIRST CHRISTMAS, AND HIS FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!

THANK YOU, DAD!!!!

I am giving them to him for his 29th B'day. He was very attached to my Dad, and my Dad thought he gave birth to him. :) My Dad passed when Jimmy was 8, but they were the best 8 years a little boy could ask for with his Grandpa Joe.

My mom had all her home movies transferred to VHS for my sister and I a few years ago. I took her original copy and made DVD's. It is such a great gift.
