Urban Rebounder

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

Postby concreterose » January 10th, 2006, 12:25 pm

I have to keep the TV off in the morning. I ordered anUrban Rebounder for my sister and I, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! I kicked myself right after I ordered ( I ordered a lateral trainer about a year ago and it's just sitting in the closet  ) because I said I wouldn't be sucked in by Infomercials anymore. But it's a really good workout, and fun. THe people on the DVD's are REALLY wierd though

I heards those things are a goods workout.

I just got a treadmill from my sister. I'm training the dogs for it now. The ironic part is that I hate running but since starting the boxing club I run at 6:30am with the other boxers, rain or shine. Otherwise I would be using the treadmill! :dogRun:

I used one of those in an aerobic class and it seems like you are floating in air. They are suppose to be quite effective. Good luck with it.

Hubby and I always have to smile when we see 'exercise' equipment - living on acreage provides alllll the movement we can want! If we aren't hauling firewood, chainsawing tree limbs, cutting and burning brush, its hauling water to plants in summer, weeding HUGE planted areas or just taking a walk with Strak UP and down hills that bring StairMaster to mind. But I can see the need if one is in an apartment and the most movement there is in and out of bed, to dinner table and pushing away from it. I wonder why someone hasn't invented a refrigerator that you must wrestle the door to open and then only after you use MORE calories than you take out from it

If I had one of those, I'd never get a chance to use it! The kids have taken over the dog treadmill. Everytime I try to put a dog on it, Raven is running towards it saying "No! My turn. My turn!" Her and Daemon have mastered the art of two people running simultaniously on it. I could just see the both of them all day fighting over it about who's turn it is to :bounce:
