My brother.............

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

brought one of these home Saturday. Except his is chrome, and heavy, my hand shakes when I hold it because it is soooo long & heavy. I pity the poor fool that breaks into my house, we have a freakin'g arsenal & he will be filled with more holes from more different guns than he can count.

Good One Genius!!! ROFLMAO!

Very Nice Piece though!

I've got a nice Semi-Automatic APBT .75 and a pair of Automatic Bone-Handle Fists. I'll be heading into the heavy duty like you have in the future.

Negative. "Dirty" Harry Callahan carried a Smith & Wesson model 29.

The Super Blackhawk is a fine pistol though.

Now, as far as big revolvers go, it's hard to beat one of these:

I'm told the recoil is quite manageable.

He's also got a .357 magnum, a .32 automatic, and several other ones I don't remember off hand. All I have is a .22 over & under pocket book pistol. I'd be better off throwing it at someone. He also has my favorite gun...a Glock 17 with a lazer site. Even I can hit something with that.

Demo,

You dog. I've been drooling over those Desert Eagles for years!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they are illegal in California and most US States, right?

No, they are not illegal in most states. I don't know the gun laws in CA, but if they are legal here in the People's Republic of New York State then I doubt there's similar legislation on the Left Coast.

Really, they are no different than any other semi-automatic pistol. They just pack a little more punch (and cost a pretty penny more). Personally, I'm not a fan of their autos, but their revolvers are top notch.

Oh, and when I buy a house (hopefully next year) one thing I'm doing for sure is building a vault room in the basement with a safe door. Remember Tremors? Think Bert Gummer's rec room all 'roided up.

Wow, I would not want to shot one of those! That's a big revolver!

We had Smith & Wesson Model 29 in 44 magnum, it had a 4 inch barrel. My husband shot it once and put it down, said it hurt his wrist... I had no intentions of trying it!

Speaking of NY gun laws, the fellow who bought it from us moved from CO to NY and he has found out that he can not even get a permit for a handgun until he has lived in NY for a year. I wondered what was up with him as his paid for S&W has been sitting in my safe for almost a year now. He finally called me a few days ago and is getting the paperwork together for it. LOL, he said the mint Model 29s and other big S&W revolvers have gone way up in price in the last year... I should charge him storage!

No kids here so we have revolvers under most sofas and under the bed in this house. Most of them are stainless 357s and 38s. My husband just got an old PPK in 380 for a carry gun, so I will get his Bauer 25 cal for my carry gun.

We have guns stashed everywhere too....no kids either. Amanda grew up around guns & never had an interest in playing with them, I still kept them out of reach when she was small. At that time I just had the derringer, it is just like this one but with pearl handles (see...I am NOT a redneck! I am not taking pictures of my actual gun!! :P ). The others are all his, he also has a few rifle, and swords and knives & bayonettes. Yeah, he scares me.

That's pretty nice, Debby! How does it shot? I like the look of pearl grips too.

It's an easy little gun, cute too. :) I can't hit any thing with it but I couldn't hit anything with a cannon.

I keep a tactical 870 at the ready in the bedroom and a .45 on me pretty much all the time. Usually have at least one knife and a flashlight on me too. I'm planning on acquiring an MP4 and an AR-15 carbine as well. I'm excited about the 6.8 mm SPC and will probably go that route when it has become established. My wish list is pretty expansive. My other guns are for hunting.

Michelle is always freaking out when I show up at her house and leave stuff lying around. Apparently a Beretta on the coffee table is not the "conversation piece" I always thought it was.

:ROFL2:

I feel fine with a 12 gauge for home defense. I don't have to aim it, just point.

I just wish I could saw it off. :rolleyes2:

I can't decide what my first handgun should be. (Please don't tell me a .22)

Deb, that's a pretty gun. :backRoll:
