SPCA Looking into dog attack

A Qualicum Beach woman, witness to a brutal dog-on-dog attack, is asking for the owner of the canine that attacked and killed a poodle on Jan. 17 in Qualicum beach to come forward before something worse happens.
In a statement about the incident filed with the Parskville/Qualicum SPCA, Anne-Marie Kruit describes the sudden incident, occurring at approximately 10 a.m. while she walked an acquaintance’s dog behind Qualicum Road on the old landfill site.
“Towards us came two guys, one’s got a husky cross leashed to the front of his bicycle ... The husky lunged and grabbed the poodle. He died almost immediately.â€
