Man injured in dog attack suing owners of attacking dogs

A Davenport man injured in a dog attack while trying to save his companion dog is suing the owners of the attacking dogs.

An attorney for Bruce D. Christensen, 48, filed a lawsuit this week in Scott County District Court seeking compensation for injuries Mr. Christensen received in the Jan. 23, 2005, dog attack.

According to the lawsuit, Mr. Christensen was walking his Doberman pinscher "companion" dog, used for an unspecified medical condition, in the 2200 block of West 4th Street in Davenport
