Deputies shoot pit bull

San Joaquin County Sheriff’s deputies used a Taser on and then shot dead a pit bull in Stockton on Saturday.

Deputies were called to the 1600 block of North Filbert Street by the Stockton Fire Department at 6 p.m. after a patient they had been treating was bit by a pack of three dogs who were still on scene and were continuing to attack other people.

Two of the dogs were “being aggressiveâ€

At least they tried the tazer first... so much for the infallible "stun gun" to stop dogs from fighting / attacking.

Pit Bulls are shot relatively frequently by law enforcement sad to say.

Inside me is a thin woman trying to get out. I usually shut the bitch up with a martini.
