You watch, they will plea it out and nothing will happen to him. It would be nice if the justice system decided to actually take crimes against animals as something serious.
Keep an eye out for information about the prosecuting attorny or the judge hearing the case. A lot of letters might make a statement.

well well... I was just passed around in a circle to 6 different offices and the final one passed me back the the first.
Good luck finding out who is taking care of this case.
HOWEVER, I did find the fax number for the prosecutors office, so please write a letter and fax it over! Urge them to NOT plea this one out, animal abusers are criminals, just like people abusers... and it has been proven that animal abusers often take the step to abusing people.
