Putnam County Tennessee

Pits in the news and info on Breed Specific Legislation.

Postby Maryellen » July 2nd, 2006, 3:37 pm

Those of you who live in Tennessee may have seen the news last night (Friday), if not, the sheriff of Putnam County plans on asking the county to look into banning pit bulls. For those of you who aren't aware, I live in Putnam County, and I have devoted the last few years to saving these dogs and educating the public on this very misunderstood breed.

Please, please help me educate the Putnam County sheriff along with county officials with respect to the flaws of breed specific legislation (BSL). Please voice your polite and respectful opposition to the officials. I have included contact information (phone and fax) - I am attempting to get e-mail addresses for them. You can find form letters on my BSL website defending dog (http://www.defendingdog.com) and helpful facts and information about BSL on http://pitbullsthetruth.tripod.com

This is the link to last night's interview with Sheriff Andrews.
